Subcompact Uncharted to start at $42,995, while the midsized Trailseeker can be had for $54,995
2026 Subaru Trailseeker / Subaru Canada
With a pair of unveils at the Montreal Auto Show this month, Subaru Canada has tripled its battery electric vehicle offerings available to Canadians. The Solterra compact SUV that’s already in showrooms will soon be joined by the Trailseeker and Uncharted.
The midsized Trailseeker is more than 150 millimetres longer and nearly 25 millimetres taller than the Solterra. It uses a 74.7 kWh battery that gives the all-wheel-drive SUV a range of up to 420 km, and features a NACS charging port and an onboard battery preconditioning system to help charging in extreme temperatures.

Available in three trims, the Trailseeker is the Subaru version of the Toyota bz Woodland, and starts with an MSRP of $54,995 and goes to $60,995.
Though the Uncharted is a smaller subcompact SUV, it gets a larger 77 kWh battery pack. Front-wheel-drive versions will have an estimated range of up to 480 km, while all-wheel-drive versions will get up to 460 km.

It also comes with a standard NACS charge port with charging speeds up to 150 kW; fast charging from 10 per cent to 80 per cent is done in about 30 minutes. For Level 1 and Level 2, an onboard charger offers up to 11 kW speeds.

Available in two FWD and two AWD versions, the Uncharted shares its underpinnings with the Toyota C-HR, and starts with an MSRP of $42,995 and goes up to $51,995.
Both the Trailseeker and the Uncharted will be in Subaru showrooms in the spring.
