On May 13, 2025, utilities, policy makers and the EV charging sector will gather in Toronto to discuss EVs and the grid
For the first time Electric Autonomy is hosting a dedicated one-day industry event to bring together experts across North America to discuss the intersection of EVs, EV charging and the grid.
On May 13, 2025 the kWh Summit is taking place at Hotel X in Toronto, the day before the annual EV & Charging Expo running May 14-15.
“Electric vehicle charging will represent a major new load on the grid, but each vehicle can also act as a dynamic grid asset. Unlike data centres or crypto mining, EVs can be a benefit to our electricity systems if managed intelligently. They also open up major new business opportunities for the energy sector, considering electrons are fuel of the future.”
The kWh Summit is done in partnership with The Transition Accelerator, a national organization that aim to solve societal challenges through positive, transformational system change.
The preliminary agenda for the 2025 kWh Summit is now available online. The event runs from 8am to 4pm.
This year’s conference will focus on best practices for infrastructure, policy and technology to best capitalize on the opportunities decarbonization of transportation presents.
Attendees will hear from panelists and keynote speakers representing some of Canada’s largest utilities, most successful charging networks and cutting-edge solution providers.
