For the third year, Canadian battery supply chain stakeholders meet in Sudbury to cement north-south battery supply chains

Mining companies, automakers, politicians and battery manufacturers are converging at Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario, from May 29 to 30, for the 2024 BEV In-Depth: Mines to Mobility conference.
This event will focus on creating bonds between northern materials suppliers and southern EV and battery retailers.
“[T]he conference will continue to put the entire EV battery supply chain under the microscope, examining both the incredible opportunities and challenges to be overcome in advancing the battery-electric economy,” reads the event website.
“The session topics, speakers, and panelists will explore cross-sectoral collaboration with attendance from businesses driving innovation in the automotive, battery, green energy, mining, and mineral processing as well as the various allied supply and services companies.”
In addition, networking opportunities will be available throughout the two days beginning with an opening gala dinner on May 29 and ending with a post-event reception on May 30.
During the conference, attendees will hear from representatives from automakers, the mining sector and battery makers. Panels will examine interconnection between the various players in the Canadian supply chains.
