Hypercharge is introducing its newest electric vehicles charging solution, Halo, at the EV & Charging Expo 2025 in Toronto today.
Halo is a Level 2 charging station designed specifically for multi-family residences, commercial properties, and workplace environments.
Built to withstand various weather conditions, Halo can be installed in both indoor parking garages and outdoor lots. It’s available with either SAE J1772 or NACS connectors and comes standard with an 18-foot cable, or with a 25-foot option available.
“Property owners are looking for charging solutions that combine smart design with long-term value,” says David Bibby, president and CEO of Hypercharge, in a press statement.
“Hypercharge Halo is designed with durability, flexibility, and reliability at its core, making it easy to integrate EV charging into residential and commercial spaces, today and into the future.”
A signature feature of Halo is its glowing, circular halo-like LED indicator that provides real-time charging status. The unit offers adjustable output ranging from 16 to 48 amps. It can deliver up to 11.5 kW of power during charging sessions.
Halo supports multiple access and activation methods, including RFID cards, QR code scanning and the Hypercharge mobile app and Eevion software platform.
Hypercharge also highlights Halo’s easy installation and eco-friendly packaging. Each Halo station ships pre-configured to Hypercharge’s network specifications for fast setup and deployment.
It is also shipped in 100 per cent recyclable packaging.
Designed for long-term use, Halo features a modular build that allows key parts to be upgraded or serviced on-site. This helps extend its lifespan and reduce maintenance costs for property owners, says Hypercharge.
Halo is now available for order to commercial, residential and workplace customers across North America.
